Beautiful Autumn wedding

Christine is German and she met Andrea (whose parents are from Italy) when they were students in Paris.

They were planning to marry in Paris but after their visit to the chateau, they decided it was the perfect place for their French wedding. Moreover, Burgundy was driving distance for their family in Germany and Italy as well as for their friends from Paris. They chose to marry in October because Autumn is still warm and sunny in Burgundy. It proved to be a smart choice. Actually the five wedding planning sessions we had between March and September were held by the pool because our Italian groom was much more effective when lounging under the sun.

The colors of the wedding were a very elegant duo of green and grey (which can also be seen on the beautiful wedding cake by Muriel / http://www.cakesinthecity.net/). The floral stylist (www.fredericbertin.com) added some sparkles of pink to the bridal bouquet and centerpieces to enhance the decor with a more vivid color.

In addition to the photobooth with polaroid camera which is always very popular, Christine’s sisters brought a frame divided in small squares to be painted by the guests with the colors of the wedding.

Until then, there were good chances for the wedding to be covered by stylemepretty, especially thanks to the beautiful photos by Christophe Viseux (see his website : http://www.christopheweddingphoto.c...). However the piece of art made by the guests may not fit into their drastic criteria, we will see...
