XIX : Extension of the chateau

Claude Francois de Truchis, the 8th generation, substantially extended the chateau buildings in 1820.

XX : Modernisation

For over 300 years the chateau has been passed on through the generations of the Truchis family who primarily used it as a summer family retreat. The chateau was recently refurbished with the addition of several bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a luxury pool. The chateau can now be compared to the most comfortable palaces, boasting modern amenities combined with a delicate 18th century charm.
